Omar came out and fixed my refrigerator that wasn't dispensing water and making ice. He was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and resourceful. Scheduling was easy and he showed up on time. Prices were great too. Definitely will be calling this company again if I have repair needs in the future. Solid Appliance repair company which is hard to find in Chicago.

I asked for help concerning my refrigerator. I received a recommendation from the manager. Omar came when expected and was very helpful. He looked at aspect of the refrigerator and figured out how best to repair it. He checked over all areas of the refrigerator both in the freezer and the frig. He found that the ice maker was causing the trouble and went forward with what needed to be done. Omar checked the outlets and all parts that help in refrigeration. He explained to me what needed to be done and how to do it. He even showed how the bottom panel could be safely done. I appreciate his slow and accurate explanation to me. Javier, I have received your emails to pay but you have no idea what you or your team have done at my home. I asked for Clean and Check my refrigerator, to me meaning clean the refrigerator engine, the parts that make the refrigerator cold and the freezer the keeps it frozen. When you check the unit you're looking for issues that make the unit run. Or let's say you hear a noise coming from the unit, you would check that noise to see if the unit needs work. Or let's say there's a piece of dirt that's causing interference with the motor you clean the piece of dirt So it works. You said to me the job is done. I asked you did you hear that slight noise and take care of. You said I asked for a clean and check. Yes I did so I asked you to check the motor and tell me if there's any issues. You gave me a no answer. I then inspected the area around the unit and i didn't notice any movement of the debris around it as if it hadn't been cleaned or checked. No photos. Which I would think you would take one photo. I have nothing to prove to me that this clean and check was completed. Let's not kid each other ....right now I have no proof and I'm worried. And the check part to me means you are cleaning and checking along the way. I asked if the slight noise had stopped and I think you said oh that's more money. Well as all us loyal customers , that's not fair. You never told us you "check" part included nothing. We get it you're a family man but that doesn't tell me my refrigerator will work. Right now I have no faith that you cleaned it and you checked it. I so wanted this service call to be a five star but it isn't because I don't know what you did. .

I had an incredible experience with Chicago Appliance Repair. My appliances are on the older side, it don't want to have to replace them all at once. I figured it was worth a shot to see if they could be fixed. I got a response to my initial message within 10 minutes, had my choice of days for a repairman to come, and here I am three days later with both appliances fixed. The repairman came equipped with parts for my specific appliances in case a replacement part was needed, (they weren't) but I appreciated he was prepared for whatever may come up. They also gave me tips on how to better maintain my appliances so that they will continue to work. I would definitely use them again if the need arises.
