I booked two spa packages including massages. Apparently they’re doing construction and will be closed for some time, so they weren’t able to accommodate us. That part itself wasn’t really the issue.
What felt strange was the way the phone call was handled. The receptionist came across as somewhat defensive and lecturing, emphasizing that the closure had been posted online for weeks, even though I was mainly just trying to ask logistical questions and hadn’t expressed any frustration.
