Advocate Illinois Masonic Diagnostic Imaging

This is for the office in Chicago Lincoln Park Area. This place is horrible. Every time you go there they put you in this Treatment Observation room (this room has 2 recliners and TV) just to talk to the nurse for 20 minutes to ask questions and schedule a pickup of the machine. They charge $285 for this room. They should only use this fancy room if there is some sort of treatment. Why can't they use a regular office. I asked to use a regular office, but they refuse. Very unprofessional. I want to use the word lady but she doesn't deserve it. So a woman answered my call. I told her I'd like to schedule an appointment for my dad because his language barrier. She asked if my dad was with me. I told her no, then she hung up. If the phone call was recorded for training purposes, then you better find that record and train your staff. The call was made on 2/28/24 at 4:23 PM.

Attempted to schedule MRI 3 times. First time no answer, second time I needed to have the order 'in my hand' (it was at home) even though I knew exactly what had been ordered, the 3rd time I was told the order had to specifically say if with or without contrast because 'it is the law'---when I asked which law that changed to 'It is our policy'---when I asked for the policy so I could send it to my doctor so they would know the intricate details Advocate needed (one would assume no contrast if not ordered) well that was unavailable as well. Finally went elsewhere as clearly they don't want customers to utilize their services....unbelievable
