“I really like the fact that, it is close to home. The hours are perfect for me. My uniform shirts are sooo white, they appear to have been bleached by the sun. My job has a Free, cleaning service. I rather pay, CD1 . My clothes are ready in the afternoon. Same day service and free, off street parking..in front of the glass windows. By the way. My ties are always on a tie holder. Not laying on top of a shirt.“

“This is the only cleaners and tailor that I go to. Great customer service, dress shirts are always crisp and clean and she makes sure that the collars stand up properly. The price for getting items tailored is very reasonable.“

“I’ve been in a couple times. First time in, I needed a patch sewn on a jacket and she just did it while I waited, which was really cool and unexpected. Second time, I had a uniform shirt cleaned. It was completed when promised, although I had a little payment issue when I picked it up - see story below.

All I was picking up was the shirt, which was only a few bucks. I showed up with only a credit card, and the amount was less than for what she could accept the card. She still let me take the shirt on the promise that I would be right back with the cash that I didn’t have on me at the time. I did go right back and pay her by the way - letting her keep the change for being so kind and trusting.

So far I’ve had nothing but a five-star experience, so I’ll be back.“

“I've been coming to Peruso's for about 20 years now. I totally trust them with my clothes and repairs. They do a beautiful job in a timely manner. It's not easy to find someone who does such good work - so when I do, I stick with them.“

“I like the store wish they had same day at this location, but they didn't they send their stuff out to another store, but it still a great place to go to get your clothes done where it is not too expensive. The one take back is the parking lot and in front of the store there is trash and empty food containers all around I feel like they need a trash can that might help, they need to make the store around send someone out to clean up I have been in Homewood for over 50 years this trash all over the place is unexpected and I know we can do better.“

I catch a Lyft from ~119th & Normal to take my clothes here to be cleaned and repaired (haven't found decent dry cleaners in the neighborhood-even my neighbors are looking for one). Rhodes Cleaners has put a new zipper in my down coat and my fall/spring jacket, altered my too long pants or too tight pants, and put new zippers in several pair of pants.
