“Came here for the first time based on the reviews and Joel did not disappoint. He was very chill and down to earth and made the whole experience relaxing. He listens to how you want your hair done and takes his time to make sure you’re satisfied with how you look. I’m Filipino with hair that sticks out pretty easily and I’ve had barbers struggle cutting my hair how I’d like it in the past. I showed Joel a picture of what I wanted my hair to generally look like and he actually made it look better than the picture I showed him. She first asks what you would envision, and after a short discussion with you, she works to make it happen. When she cuts my hair, she takes into consideration the shape of my head, how my hair lies, and the condition of my hair, and addresses anything that needs to be changed, like the hair products I am using. My hair used to be brittle and she has transformed my hair to a soft mane of hair. Before I started with Kristina, my hair was falling out. I was trying minoxidil to reverse it, but it was getting worse. She suggested that I discontinue using it, and offered suggestions on products that could restore my hair. Now my hair is much more healthy, shiny and soft. The glaze she uses on my hair makes my hair feel like fine silk.As for Kristina herself, she is a very kind, respectful person. She genuinely cares about each of her clients, and it shows. Every time a client walks through the door, it's smiles all around. We love to go to Kristina for all of our hair needs.“
