“I had a visit today with Sara Lopez pa. I cannot say enough good about her. Bedside manner and knowledge was unmatched. I do not like Dr visits. I had several issues that needed attention. Sara alleviated every fear I had and she made me feel very comfortable despite my fear of being there in the first place. She epitomizes what every health care provider should be. Caring empathetic and patient focused. I'll never see anyone else I love all about her presentation. She is a hat I'd like to see in all medical offices. “I have seen Dr. Arroyo twice and now her PA Liz. They are both very professional and thorough in their examination. Dr. Arroyo found my malignant melanoma on my skin which I was very thankful for. And Liz was able to freeze some unsightly moles on my chest. I'm very thankful for both of them. I would definitely recommend this practice“

“Excellent experience with my doctor. First time patient and it was easy and very welcoming. I am so pleased to have found this place.

Now with several visits at the Glenview office....my one observation is the over use of co-pay billing.

1. Consultations are billed as a co-pay....tough when you are there both to be seen and interview the doctor

2. To have the doctor review her work....actually removed a mole that was not discussed and had to come back for the correct one....another co-pay was needed for their error.

3. When stitches were removed...it was done by a medical assistant and the doctor never reviewed her work...I had an issue of a new lump in my face and for me to come see the doctor so she can review...I had to pay another co-pay.

4. It seems the doctor has to split work because they are busy and numerous times are needed and each time a $60 co-pay was asked of me....in 1 month I had 6 co-pays asked of me.

Emails were not replied to when I asked why am I having to pay for a check up on their work or correct an error in their work.

Though the doctor is very nice and professional...I feel a bit financially drained on the co-pays for follow up visits due to their error and doctor haven't looked at the work she had done.

I feel $360 paid to walk in the door to give them business is a bit extreme and I feel like a milked cow.

My present doctor is leaving and I will find a smaller office or find a reputable source in Mexico City for treatments as that is my 2nd place of residence.“

“Had appointment 8/28/2023 and received great care. On 9/6/2023, received Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from Insurance stating I will owe $178.23. A few days later, Midwest Dermatology send me an email with the invoice. I paid it in full on 9/15/2023. In December 2024, nearly 1-1/2 years later, I received a bill from Midwest Dem stating I owe another $45. They apparently resubmitted the claim under their 2024 contractual agreement and are now trying to collect more money. This is a great example of unethical billing practices. I do not recommend them. (By the way I am VP & RN for a large Medical Group, so I am familiar with medical practices.)“
