My only concern is that because I didn't have insurance coverage, I had to select a cheaper frame than what I am accustomed to having. I have been to a lot of optometrist on the southside of Chicago and all I found was extremely poor or outright awful service! Then I found Lunettes! When you go into Lunettes you are greeted by Leeanne. Leeanne is so awesome! From the time I started going to Lunettes, Leeanne was just full of smiles and years of experience. To date the service that she provides is impeccable. She knows everything about her job and she knows how to get what she wants so she can provide the customer with exactly what they want. I have more than one insurance available and she easily uses every benefit available to me. Nicole, is a little newer but she has worked with Leanne in the past and it shows. Nicole is extremely nice and extremely helpful when Leeanne is not holding down the fort. She is a perfect teammate. Dr. Lange was initially quiet but that has changed. She is always asking about the family and how things are on the daily. Dr. Lange is genuinely interested in how her patients are doing and has a pleasant chair side manner. She is genuinely happy to do what she does and it shows. Dang it the whole office is just the bee's knee's. I will be going there until they tell me to stop coming in. LOL. “This place is fantastic. I loved everyone I saw that day. I just wish they had Saturday hours. I'm a school teacher with an evening job as well. The lack of Saturday hours made picking up my item difficult. I had to take time off work to go pick up my glasses. That was the only issue. My original appointment was during spring break but the pick up time was a few weeks later.“

“Recommended by Dr Samy. Dr Wilkemeyer spent a significant amount of time with me to understand my concerns before the eye exam. Upon completion of the exam I felt I finally was going to receive the correct prescription for glasses. I was very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Dr Wilkemeyer if you are in need of an optometrist. Then I met with his office assistant and I was not particularly happy with my options for glasses and that my current frames were not going to be used for the new lenses. In addition, I asked when the "new" glasses would be ready and was told approximately 1 week, but it took almost three weeks. I went to pick them up and she spent very little time with me adjusting the glasses so that they fit correctly. She seemed distracted because more customers were coming in and I felt like she was rushing me. I told her they felt too big and that they seemed like they were loose. She said it was because they were titanium and made a minor adjustment and handed them back to me and asked me if that was good. At the time, they seemed just OK, but I didn't feel like I had her full attention so I took my glasses and left. Of course, I got home and they did not fit well. They were too wide and kept slipping off my ear. Now I have to go back and try to get them adjusted again. If she had just taken the time and given me her full attention I would've saved a trip back to the office and I would not be writing this part of the review. It always seems like it is the office staff that creates the issues that I have with my glasses. So very frustrating.“
