Dr. Nord is the only vet that I'll trust with any of my animals. He is someone who is extremely honest and puts the health and safety of your animals first so much so that he takes the time to teach you the "why" behind what he recommends.
We arrived during "closed" hours but that was okay; we were only there for the animal display OUTSIDE the hospital. I helped my daughter move from Cincinnati, OH to Des Moines, IA and during the long drive there, we wanted to see some of what we called "quirky Americana". This place was one of many that we found between here and there. Since my daughter LOVES animals, we thought this would be a perfect stop for a few pictures. The rolling hills surrounding the animals were an added bonus.
Nord Animal Hospital, plus the entire family and staff are a combination of old world Doctors/Vets care and new world technology. We couldn't be more pleased. They treat our animals and us like we are a part of the family. Outstanding professionals. Highly recommended. Semper Fi & God bless them & all they do.
