The staff, from the lobby host to the caregivers and reception team, are described as friendly, respectful, and attentive, creating a pleasant atmosphere for the veterans they serve. The clinic itself is noted to be clean and well-maintained, with a sense of pride and care felt by patients upon entering. While the coffee machine was reported to be out of service, the overall experience at the Bloomington VA Clinic is described as positive, with the clinic nearly achieving perfection in its care and service.
Went to this location and was very impressed with the hospitality of the lobby host, and overall atmosphere of this location!! Very friendly staff all together and they were very welcoming!! It wasn't everybody but 90+ percent is a good number to use as a Benchmark!! Coffee was terrible, but this was based on the machine not even being in service!! I did drive from the greater Peoria!! Oh well, next time!!
I was treated with the utmost respect and care at this VA clinic. I realize that, being a retired social worker and veteran who has had contact and interaction with many caregivers at VA Medical centers, there is no perfect. I must say that the care givers, reception staff,and my fellow brothers and sisters in arms helped in providing a pleasant, warm, and welcoming atmosphere, and they've got it almost perfect too!
I’ve been fortunate enough to transition my medical coverage from BCBS to the VA. I’m grateful that Bloomington now has a clinic. I feel such a sense of pride and care walking into the Bloomington VA. From the greeters, to the front desk staff, Donny, Donna and Dr Leslie Carter, the staff back in labs, the dietitian, everyone there. The building itself is very nice and clean. They stay very busy, but somehow are always able to make genuine time for the Veteran. I appreciate you guys and thanks again for all you do ❤️ ?
