I just completed a purchase using Phill Bukowski as my lender. I cannot recommend him more. I have friends who have used lenders and had very unsettling experiences, and this could not have gone any better. I wish I had known him back then so that they didn't have to go through what they went through! Upon first contact with Phill, I could tell that he was just a genuinely good guy. He was really responsive from the get-go, and was quick and confident in answering all of my questions. The more I worked with him, the more satisfied I felt in choosing him as my lender. This is my third time purchasing a home (in addition to one refinance), and no lender I have worked with has even come close to doing as great of a job as Phill. If you have a friend or family member who needs a lender, please send them to him. You can rest easy knowing that they aren't going to be dealing with some sales-y, slimy, dishonest lender. He is an honest guy, and he's very straight forward and authentic. I worked with Rick Litton and Nic Seibert on my loan and could not have been happier with the process from start to finish. They were exceedingly friendly, helpful and worked efficiently to process our loan quickly and painlessly. We had a relatively short amount of time between when our purchase contract was signed and the closing, but they didn't bat an eye. Most of us don't go through the mortgage process too often so it's important to work with a team that you can trust and that is responsive. Rick and Nic were all that and more. I'll also throw a shout-out to FCM's app, which lets you check on the status of your loan on-demand, 24/7, and updates you when you move on to the next step of the process. It also contains resources and definitions to all of the terms that come up in the mortgage process that I was a little fuzzy on.
