    Mercy ER is a literal joke. I went there on Friday 2/23 on referral from urgent care with a 104.3 fever, nausea, stomach issues, and severe dizziness. I waited for 5 hours to have only been called back for two tests (with no results) and to be given 400mg of Motrin. After 8 hours I had to leave, I was so uncomfortable. During one of the tests, the nurse was just complaining to me? someone behind the wall? God? about someone taking her _____ so she needed to take another _______ from the cart and nobody better say anything about it. Great bedside manner!     I went to ER yesterday. Waited 4 hours in the waiting area, didn't even go to a room. Lady at the desk was rude. Didn't do anything for my injury. Finally left went yorkville Rush ER was in and out in 2 hours. Do not go to Mercy absolutely horrible. Had to give one star but really Zero stars

    Horrible quality of care, horrible communication with patients and family. The ER is a disaster. I pleaded with the paramedics to take me to CDH, but due to weather, they could not. I told them exactly what I've given every other time I've been in the hospital, and they were just going along making all their own decisions based on absolutely nothing. I've been in an out of CDH with an attack in 4-5 hours. We spent 9 hours at Mercy before ripping my IVs out and leaving. hour and a half later the cops showed up asking if I still had my IV in. Its now very clear what their intentions and perceptions were. These people are going to kill someone, and I hope their family sues...read full review
