Got our hardwoods refinished through RFS after putting it off for years. The old finish was worn down to bare wood in the high traffic spots and I figured it was time. They handled the whole job including moving our furniture out of the rooms before they started. Took about four days total with the drying time between coats. Floors feel smooth underfoot now and the color is a bit warmer than before which we actually prefer.
the floors in our dining room and living room were in bad shape, scratches everywhere and the old finish was basically gone in the high traffic spots. RFS came in and sanded everything down then put a new stain on it. they moved the bigger furniture pieces for us too which saved me from having to figure that out. whole project was done in a few days and the dust was way less than i expected. floors look like they belong in a different house now. pretty satisfied with how it all turned out
so our hardwood floors had this hazy cloudy look that kept getting worse no matter what we cleaned them with. Tried all the products, nothing worked. turns out the old finish was just breaking down and there was no saving it without a full refinish.
