I had an issue with my AC not cooling properly during a 97-degree day, and the unit was making a strange crackling noise even after I shut off the power. I suspected a capacitor issue, and Douglas AC was able to come out within just a couple of hours. The technician was professional, quick to diagnose the problem, and had the part replaced on the spot. The total cost was $360, which I thought was very fair for same-day emergency service during a heat wave.

Our air conditioning wasn't working in a home that we had recently purchased. We were informed by the previous owners that the unit was installed only a year ago by Douglas. I was expecting pushback since we were not the individuals who purchased the unit. Douglas couldn't have been nicer, they handled the issue promptly and under warranty. Excellent customer service!!
The service technician that came to problem-solve was Nick. He immediately found the cause, and a second problem which he also resolved. Nick was incredibly polite, and clearly knowledgeable to fix the problem in a timely manner.
