“I live in Colorado but was visiting the Chicago area this past summer. I met an acupuncturist at a different clinic and wanted to see her one more time before heading back. She works part time at Juntendo clinic so my last appointment was there. I have chronic bronchitis and whenever I have a flare up acupuncture is the only thing that helps. While I was in the waiting room I started coughing and my acupuncturist brought me a cup of water with a syrup in it that really calmed my cough. When I was through with my treatment, I asked if I could buy a bottle of the cough remedy but it turns out that they don't sell it, it was from Dr Ye's personal remedies. She got an empty bottle and gave me probably 2-3 ounces of it and didn't charge me for it. I'm writing this months later because my bronchitis flared up again recently, I took what was left over, found it on Amazon, ordered it and it has helped calm it down tremendously.
