Very bad experience with reception. Called to get information about a DOT physical for medical card. First the lady told me the office only takes current patients for DOT tests. Then she asked all my personal information to look me up in the database only to confirm I am not a current patient. She stated the office cant do the DOT because Im not a current patient, When I questioned her she put me on a long hold only to come back and confirm that obviously the office does take new patients. Then I asked the price, and she replied.. it depends it could be 100 or up to 130. When I replied “Mam, you sound like you don't know what you’re talking about”, and gave her the reasons why.. she says oh yeah and hung up the phone.

I have nothing but great things to say about the doctor, but however, when it comes to the office manager, Ashley, she is nothing but rude, dismissive, and arrogant. Extremely confrontational and pompous, after one phone call. Would recommend the doctor but good luck dealing with the office manager if any issues arise.

I've had good experiences with the doctor and the rest of the medical staff at this office — they’re professional, knowledgeable, and caring. However, the office manager is consistently rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, her attitude creates a stressful and unpleasant environment, which overshadows the otherwise excellent care provided by the medical team. It's disappointing when administrative staff make patients feel like an inconvenience. I hope this issue is addressed, as it detracts from an otherwise great practice.

I have never had such a dedicated team in all medical need aspects of my life. I have seen multiple Dr.s from this office and each time I was blown away by their kindness. Their ability to understand sometimes medial issues are unpredictable and extremely painful astounds me. The nurses and office staff always make me feel so welcome and that they truly care about my needs. I’m so happy that these are my medical professionals. They listen with intent and are always willing to go the extra mile for me. Thank you team 💕

I don't believe any of these positive reviews. I have blue cross blue shield Illinois, they no longer work with avacate. This was the closest doctora office I could find. Me and my wife filled out the new patient form almost a month ago at this point. My wife has a chronic illness that requires medication. And they refuse to see her. They told her there was a month and a half wait for new patients. She now has a sinus infection and they still refuse to see her. This doctor's office is a joke in any five-star reviews have got to be fake.

Honestly if I could give negative stars I would. My mother was going here for years, she is on a medication that she cannot stop taking. They canceled appointments on her and then sent a letter saying they will no longer provide services. Her medication is out as of today. With serious side effects if not taken! When she contacted them she asked for a week worth so she can get in to see the doc. They told her .. wait Ashley told her “you haven’t seen the doc and we cannot get your medications refilled” she asked what to do about the medication she was told by Ashley “I guess you find a different doctor” what the hell is wrong with people. I have contacted my legal team about this doctors office. They do not help anyone they do not care they are the most horrible place! Do not go here! Ever!!! They would rather get money and see people die than help!!

Dr Elizabeth Soifer was well informed regarding my health before she walked in the room. She asked me how I felt and what I had done to relieve the pain. I felt that she really cared about me and my condition and gave me peace in knowing she had addressed every issue concerning me and gave me time to talk. I’ve been seeing her for about 15-20 years. I recommend her highly.

I highly recommend this doctor’s office. I recently had my physical done and was a bit nervous, especially about getting my blood drawn. However, Dr. Sophie Huang and Nurse Jeanette were incredibly kind and reassuring, making me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out. Thank you both for such a positive experience!

The staff is very pleasant, and the office is neat and clean.
I've been seeing Dr. Devaney for years. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and provides excellent care. He always takes the time to listen and explain everything. I couldn't ask for a better doctor and office. Highly recommended.

I wish there was an option to leave ZERO stars. My husband has been a patient here for most of his life. He only gets physicals, and has hardly ever had to call on a doctor here for any acute situations. He developed severe neck pain over three weeks ago and has been getting worse ever since. He called yesterday three times. Was hung up on and then sent to voicemail the other two times. He also called and left another message this morning, with no return phone call. He went in there today after work, in person and was treated like he was a bother. He just wanted an appointment. They “squeezed” him in, and he was treated like less than a human being. Not like he has been a patient for 20+ years. The PA Theodore Holroyd was rude and dismissive and everything you would not want in a doctor or medical professional. He had no thoughts, no tips, no encouragement …he just said, “what do you want” in a hurried and crass tone.
For this PA, I have one question, why be in the business of caring for human beings and helping them when it is clear that you see them as an annoyance and a bother. Shame on you. Shame on this office for being so unprofessional and shady.
