“They trimmed a huge maple tree and a few other smaller trees and did a great job. After the crew left I saw a limb on the maple that had been cut, leaving a four foot stump. I thought that it might have been broken when branches higher up were cut down but I was mistaken. Peter came out and removed the limb without any questions or argument. When the stump was down, I saw that the cut was old and realized that it had been cut some years ago by Commonwealth Edison because it was too close to their lines. “I’ve used Smitty’s twice now and they have been wonderful. Each time I requested a quote they got back to me same day, and were out to my house completing the job within 3 days. On this second time they accidentally hit my driveway gate with the truck, but they immediately informed me, were super apologetic, and had someone out to fix it the next day, good as new. I doubt they are the cheapest option, but as with most things, you get what you pay for. I’m happy to pay for their quality service and will use them again in the future!“
