RIP King Von, he was such a role model. From his undeniable respect for women, to his many protest to stop gun violence, King Von was a very influential person who tried to keep the peace in Chicago. Fly high

The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
My mother, brother, grandmother, aunt, and 4 of my cousins are buried here. We have never had a problem with burr oak before or after the changes of ownership. Thank God we never experienced any rough, soft, wet, or unsettled land near our loved ones. They have attended to all of our needs, met our request, and have superceded our families' expectations. Make sure your making your special request like locations close to or near your buried loved ones years in advance and not expecting them to meet your last-minute advances. No cemeteries are perfect, not even our own backyards.

I have no one buried here; but all cemeteries remove flowers, balloons etc. at different times of the year. I would put down and make cemetery wreaths in December. They would stay down a while then be removed. Check with the cemetery. Could be because it's easier to do up keep around the grave area. And some things of memory fly away.
