About Accord Carton Company
Accord Carton Company operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with check-in at door 23 or 25 depending on the location and type of load. For paper roll deliveries, check in at the end of the building near door 23, using the address 6155. Drivers often experience waiting times, sometimes over two hours, and may be moved between buildings, such as from the main building to 6051, especially during busy holidays. The unloading process involves trucks being unloaded one by one, which can extend wait times. Despite some delays, many reviewers praise the friendly and quick service once in the bay, with loading often completed within an hour. It is important to arrive before the 3 PM cutoff, as the facility stops accepting loads after that time, though they may still unload late arrivals. The staff, particularly those in the shipping office, are appreciated for their kindness. Overall, Accord Carton Company is known for great people, fast loading, and efficient service when arriving prepared.
What someone said a year ago about check-in apparently is no longer the case.
For paper rolls (unloading)use the 6155 address. Check in is at the end of the bldg by door 23. Hope this helps. Also, it’s FCFS no appointments.
Update: they shoved us and 7 other trucks to the other building 6051, after sitting at the first building over 2 hrs waiting and checked in for the one door (23) to unload. Now we are waiting for door 25 as they are unloading trucks one by one. Must be the 4th of July holiday thing. No one showed up to work lol
Our appointment was for 3 PM. They close / stop accepting loads at 3pm, but luckily they unloaded us. Thank you for being kind enough for unloading us!! If your broker tries to give you an appointment, they do not have appointments either at this location (FCFS). Just make sure you arrive in ample time to get unloaded BEFORE 3 PM!!! For delivering a load, it is the building BEFORE the actual address. The RECEIVING office is located between Docks 13 & 14. It is located in the second driveway to the adjacent building BEFORE the actual address.
I have been working with Kirk from Accord Carton for a few months now, and I can not say enough about his patience and professionalism. He listens, suggests, and is very flexible with all the changes we've made to date. I would recommend Accord Carton for any company looking for assistance with carton design.
