Carol is a very knowledgeable massage therapist. I love that she has many different techniques. She has certifications and training in Arvigo (great technique for fertility, menstrual issues, and digestion), lymphatic massage, pregnancy massage, and she can even help with nutritional support.

Carole is a great massage therapist! I live in Algonquin and never knew this place was there! It's a hidden gem! She has a great referral program and the prices are very reasonable. I will be going back in a heartbeat!

Wow - just wow! I can't say enough amazing things about Carol and her massages. I found out about Hands on Massage & Bodywork from an Empowered Pregnancy series run through Advocate Sherman Hospital. Carol came and talked about all the benefits of massage - things I never knew about! I was definitely a person who has never been interested in massage therapy and knew nothing about it. She blew me away with her knowledge! Through my pregnancy when I started getting towards the end I learned that through all of my lifting and workouts I had made my body really tight and not necessarily prepared for childbirth. I founded Hands On Massage & Bodywork in 2011 to provide quality alternative care for relaxation and wellness. In 2023, we changed our name to The Healing Cottage.
