“Our family was one of the families in the area that got scammed by Interstate Well Drilling (see the review I left for them). We hired this company to come out and see if they could determine what was wrong with our well. We had literal mud coming out of our pipes. It was bad. Prior to hiring these guys, we hired Interstate to come out and fix it (they were the ones that installed the well) and they made numerous false diagnoses (such as leak in pipes, bad pressure tank, etc.) and it was all just bogus to try and shift the blame to someone else rather than their trash install. We spend lots of money on these repairs only to find out it was a hoax.
Mind you, we have small children at home and could not bathe them in our bathtub the water was just so disgusting. Our home’s filters would not last 2 seconds because of the mud and then mud would come plowing through our pipes. So we hired these guys to come out and take a look. My father was in town visiting when the guys from Strom Electric arrived and as soon as the lead guy got out of his truck, we knew we were in good hands.
We knew instantly that he was “an old well guy” in that he was old, gray, a little crusty, and had been doing nothing but wells for the past 20+ years. My dad came into the house and said “Brooks, we got an old well guy who has been doing wells forever and he really knows his stuff.”
The old well guy had this simple and free idea to simply run the well at a rate of 2GPM so the well will not run dry and let it run for over a day so that it sucks out all the bad stuff out of the well. We tried it, and now we can use our water again!!!!! To be clear, we still have some sentiment in our water, but it went from mud to a little iron and mica. Our filter now last a full month before needing changed.
These guys are great. I highly recommend them for well-related needs.“
