Post Falls Family Medicine

I was out of town in a rural area and needed a emergency insulin prescription sent to a pharmacy more than hour away.My regular endocrinologist office is closed on Fridays. Post Falls family Medical is my genera physician office.They refused to send in a prescription for insulin because I haven't been seen since 2021. Ridiculous that they wouldn't send in a life supporting medication prescription. I have no option but to not eat and ration out my insulin until I get home. I am going to file a complaint as well.

There is good and bad about this office. They can always get you in very quick if you need sort of an emergency appointment, which is nice.My main issue is that they never follow up on anything.I was supposed to get a call to schedule an ultrasound, but they never called.The most recent one was I was supposed to get a call when my IUD came in and never got a call.

The girls at the front desk are awesome,the nurse that takes you to the back wasn't very friendly and they need to realize people can here you take about them when your in room waiting to see doc and she make comments that are rude, but the nurse practitioner that I seen hopefully was listening and will help me,this was first visit will see how next visit goes.
