Customers have expressed great satisfaction with the service they have received. One client was impressed with the care and compassion shown during a "geriatric dog emergency" visit, noting that the staff provided a comprehensive exam and bloodwork at a reasonable cost. Another long-time customer highlighted the excellent care provided by Dr. Ponsness, especially for their golden puppies. Sadly, one customer had to bring their German shepherd, Loki, in for emergency surgery due to bloat, and while Loki did not survive, the customer was grateful for the love and care provided by Dr. Ponsness and the entire team.

I have never come across a better Vet than Dr. Ness. She is very analytical, very attentive and listens, very responsive and caring. I'd give her and the people at POVS 10 stars if I could.
I breed Labrador retrievers and have been super happy with the care they receive. I highly recommend them for all my clients. We have had some serious emergency deliveries and injuries over the years and Pend Oreille Vet has always given Top-notch service. If they were too busy, they actually called another vet to get us in for an Emergency C-section to save our girl and her puppies. They go above and beyond. A huge thank you to Dr Chrissy Ponsness who even came in on her day off to monitor blood transfusions for our sweet Maizy. Dr Christine Smart Is also another dedicated vet who stayed late to make sure that everything was okay After Maizy‘s emergency spay to save… read full review
