They took very good care of my Charlie. Trust this clinic!

I foster rescued dogs. I took a female in to be spayed. She had two masses at her back teats. During the operation the vet called and said the masses were mammary and would probably reduce in time.
I took her to Weiser Vet Clinic. The vet did an MRI which showed she had a quarter sized inguinal hernia and what the Lakeshore vet identified as mammary enlargement was actually internal organs extending through the opening. The dog's intestines could have twisted resulting in death. My foster is scheduled for a second surgery to repair this condition but not at Lakeshore.
Suffice it to say I will not be trusting Lakeshore with my furry babies.

Worst vet around! All they care about is taking your money! They could care less about your animals well being or helping you in your time of need! Go ANYWHERE else!

Reply back to Dr Zach The amount of reviews I write has zero to do with my dogs getting sick after they had been seen at this location. The fact is both got sick after having dental work. My two little guys were brought in at the same time. They were sick and then in a few days both my larger dogs got it and we ended up going to another vet to get them checked out. The simple fact is they got sick while under your care and I was just sharing what happened. Life is short and I am not dwelling on the past just giving you a review based on what took place when I gave you our business. went here years ago and have never been back both my dogs got sick after being here

Took my dog in who was acting lethargic and just not right. Asked specifically for her teeth to be looked at. It was a drop off appointment so I got a call from Dr. Widick telling me there is nothing wrong with her and her teeth were fine.
I picked her up and she was still not right. Called and asked for blood work please. It was done and I was told she had a common cold.
She was still not good and now wouldn’t open her mouth at all. I called and asked to be scheduled for X-rays of her jaw. This time Dr Schroeder examined her instead of Dr. Widick. She actually tried to look in her mouth and my dog wouldn’t even let her look. She didn’t just call it good and send her home, she actually looked for the problem, which was an abscess behind her tooth.
Hundreds of dollars spent and my dog being in pain for weeks for a tooth abscess.
When I talked to Dr. Widock he told me he stood behind his actions because “he isn’t a magician” and he is “more than happy” to send me my records because “it is clear we are not a good fit”.
20 years I’ve been at this vet and now we aren’t a good fit.

Really thankful for all they do for our pets

I couldn’t believe how quickly they got in my itchy pup! The staff are all so friendly. The vet we saw was definitely a smart cookie but was so considerate of budget restrictions in general. Their prices are so reasonable too. Thank you guys for taking care of my sweet girl!

They put down our precious dog Claud today. They were all very caring and were very professional.

I just want to say that this animal hospital is hands down the best! The staff is all so amazing and compassionate and they truly care about animals and their humans too!! We recently had to do an emergency end of life care for our elderly bulldog and it was so hard to do but they made us feel comforted with their kindness and love. Yesterday we received a hand written sympathy card with his paw print inside. I cannot explain how much this small act of love meant to our family! Keep up the amazing work! And never stop caring! You are all such wonderful people and we will forever be grateful to you!
