“I was referred to Jason by a friend. He provides his cell phone number on his business card and I texted him last week and made an appointment for today. Very conveniently located on Hercules off Star Rd next to the Anytime Fitness. I told Jason that I wanted a regular haircut with a #4 on the sides and back. Instead of going high with the clippers, he stayed low and left some length up above to allow for some movement of the hair. No one has cut my hair this way (to my recollection) and I was very happy with the result. The best haircut I've had in quite some time. Jason is also very nice and personable and keeps the conversation going. Since we're new to Star, my wife not being satisfied with the one haircut she has received since we moved, and Jason's wife Gina (they co-own the shop) also receiving great reviews, I'm referring my wife to her.“

“AFTON was beyond polite and down to earth which made me feel so comfortable, esp with social anxiety. We talked like I had known her my entire life. You can see and FEEL the love, passion and her perfectionism within seconds of her work. She gave me knowledge and tips how to take care of my dry hair? I had never heard of, EVER. The color was beautiful and spot on, the one area that needs more work is from black color which is not her fault and she made it blend so well. You can’t find a stylist anywhere these days who don’t rush you away, makes beautiful color but the haircut is so easy to do every morning from all my cowlicks, I can’t explain what she did but wow,huge difference, and the best is she feels like a true genuine friend.
