“I came across this place in early February—even though it’s less than five minutes from my house and I had driven by it countless times. I had seen it before but never really knew what it was all about, which honestly feels like a miss because the experience here is genuinely top-tier.

After my first visit, I could already tell this was something I’d want to keep up with, so I went ahead and signed up for a membership pretty quickly.

After a couple of visits, I ended up booking with Lace—and that’s when everything changed. She completely set the standard and elevated the experience to a whole different level.

She takes her time, pays attention to every detail, and never makes you feel rushed. There’s a level of care, consistency, and pride in her work that’s hard to find—my hair turns out exactly how I want it every single time, and it actually lasts. You can tell she truly cares about what she’s doing, and it shows.

I’ll be honest—I actually thought Lace was the owner at first. The way she carries herself, the attention she gives, and how invested she is in the overall experience just gave that impression. She’s not only focused on her own clients, but you can tell she’s paying attention to everything happening around her—helping keep things running smoothly, being kind and welcoming to anyone who walks through the door, and contributing to the overall energy of the space. I was genuinely surprised to learn she wasn’t.

And candidly—this is one of those places that should be booked out nonstop. The quality is absolutely there. The only thing that seems to be missing is visibility. If the marketing and overall awareness matched the level of service being delivered, I don’t think there would be a single open chair in the salon.“

“AFTON was beyond polite and down to earth which made me feel so comfortable, esp with social anxiety. We talked like I had known her my entire life. You can see and FEEL the love, passion and her perfectionism within seconds of her work. She gave me knowledge and tips how to take care of my dry hair? I had never heard of, EVER. The color was beautiful and spot on, the one area that needs more work is from black color which is not her fault and she made it blend so well. You can’t find a stylist anywhere these days who don’t rush you away, makes beautiful color but the haircut is so easy to do every morning from all my cowlicks, I can’t explain what she did but wow,huge difference, and the best is she feels like a true genuine friend. That’s rare these days. So thank you Afton for choosing to be a stylist that a lot of us NEES these days. The ones who appreciate you, have class and dignity and extra gratefulness knowing how hard you work, how much you care about us. “Having just moved to Boise not too long ago, I was in desperate need of a new hairstylist. I just happened to come across Khmara's page on Instagram and could not BELIEVE someone that talented was literally located not but a mile down the road from where I live. I was only hoping that she lived up to her social media presence, and by God she did! Not only is she one of the most talented stylists I've ever been to, she is so kind, welcoming and non-judgmental. I have EXTREMELY thin & fine hair that is just...well, not pretty.
