i have been coming to star nails and spa for over a year now! i love the service, the people, and the wide selection of nail polish colors! the owner is amazing, funny, and always happy. i know i can count on this salon to give me the perfect nails for any occasion! the prices are fabulous, compared to any other nail salon in boise. (and that’s coming from a high schooler!) i’m constantly recommending this place to my friends because they have proven to do such a flawless job!

While they were very friendly, Kevin (I think) felt like he had way too much coffee. His energy was not relaxing and I worried that he would do a good job. I got a full set of acrylics and he had great detail on that and when I messed took a chunk of the white off, he did it again without open complaint. My only complaint is that the polish was not even on the top and the underneath looked like a huge mess. I also thought the edges were too sharp and didn't round them off enough. I did ask for square but like more rounded edges. I probably won't go back due to the gel polish unevenness but overall was good.

Vu P. provided the best customer service I've ever had. Called late Saturday for a Sunday appointment; shop is closed but he opened it, he came in on his day off for me. Remarkable! Always friendly, clean, and beautiful pedicures from Star Nails. Highly recommend!
