About Intermountain Hospital
Intermountain Hospital offers a range of amenities, including vegetarian and low-sodium food options, a basketball court, and daily exercise programs. Each room has a bathroom and shower. The staff, including many kind nurses and dedicated caregivers, work hard to provide support. Many patients have shared positive experiences, praising the caring staff and the helpful environment. Several staff members, such as Stephanie, Kristy, Ann, Friday, Kim, Tori, Keith, and Courtney, are especially appreciated for their excellent patient care. The hospital also has a great outpatient program that has helped many manage depression, anxiety, and other issues. However, some guests have noted that the service can sometimes be inconsistent. One staff member was described as dismissive and unkind, especially towards women with hormonal issues. An older tech was also mentioned as being mean and unhelpful, even walking away when a patient was upset and crying. The dayroom TV can be too loud at times, and intense shows or movies should be moderated more to prevent discomfort for those with sensory issues. Staff attitudes are important, and suggestions have been made for management to address these concerns. Overall, the hospital provides a comfortable and supportive environment with a focus on recovery. The cafeteria could benefit from more variety and better service, especially for those on special diets. Despite some challenges, many patients feel that the help they receive outweighs the negatives. The facility encourages those who need inpatient care to consider it, emphasizing that with effort, recovery is possible.
this place saved my life.
wonderful healthcare workers and an effective system to help ensure that everyone is safe and treated fairly. this place is the truth and nothing more, no one has ever helped and cared for me like intermountain did.
I would suggest intermountain hospital for detox/ for inpatient substance and mental health treatment it was a fantastic experience for someone who's .
. never been in detox before I would strongly advise people to go to this because Its actually someplace where you can feel safe you can get detox meds and medication that is long term and if wanted IOP is a option the staff and Drs are compassionate and you can feel heard and on top of that you get three free meals a bed that's kind of comfy and as long as you follow the no string rule or no alcohol in your products you'll get your property while your there. And I was. So greatful that we had breaks to smoke often...read full review
Staff were kind and friendly. There were some staff to patient communication issues sometimes. That's the reason for 4 stars. Overall, Intermountain helped me conquer my unhealthy habits in life.
