About Hunt Chad DVM
Hunt Chad DVM is a veterinary clinic with highly professional and caring staff. They have demonstrated expertise in handling complex cases, having saved a dog's life twice despite severe reactions to toxins. The clinic also offers spaying services, with staff recommended by veterinary technicians from different clinics. On weekends, the clinic provides "drop-off" options for urgent cases, and they ensure transparent communication about the treatment process, expected outcomes, and associated costs. A customer who recently used this service found the bill to be reasonable and was impressed by the thorough explanation provided by the vet. Overall, the clinic has received positive reviews for its expertise, professionalism, and reasonable pricing.
Dr Chad Hunt has been caring for our English Bulldog since birth. He has been great to have as our vet. Recently our dog had TPLO surgery done by Dr Hunt, (torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament (ACL in humans). Dr. Hunt was very professional, and detailed and explained the whole process before and after. The outcome was excellent. He provided detailed information on how to care for our dog for the first 6 weeks, along with quickly answering any questions we had about his surgery during that 6 week time. His polite, calming personality, and knowledge and expertise has been displayed at every visit.
I've been a loyal fan of NW Animal and Ewing Animal Clinic since 2019. Prior to that I had tried out two other clinics who had either rude receptionists or incompetent, new young vets. I had 3 labs, ranging in age from 5 to 13. Dr Wethered is a bit quirky with humans, but really understands the needs of dogs. He instantly recognized my choc lab had severe anxiety and would benefit from Prozac, which he's on now and really has helped; he successfully administered laser surgery to my lab who was treated before with surgical methods that didn't work at a different clinic for canine papilloma virus; he diagnosed and did successful surgery on bladder stones for my elderly yellow lab; my choc lab had surgery by Dr Keller in an emergency situation for eating a bone that wouldn't pass on a Friday evening....she stayed late doing the surgery and came in later that evening to check him and early in the AM again to check him...he recovered great! Dr Wethered and team sent me a beautiful bouquet after they learned I had to put down my yellow lab. Dr W does a lot of research and stays abreast with the latest findings. Again, he's quirky with people but great at treating animals. The staff is always friendly and their hours of operation best in town.
Dr. Hunt is professional, caring, calm and friendly. He has saved the life of my dog twice and I am so grateful. She was exposed to the deadly alge years ago and recently had a severe reaction. I am certain that without Dr. Hunt, his knowledge and expertise, she would not have pulled through.
