Larry from the Computer Doctor Boise was a life saver. My Lenovo hard drive fried, and I needed a laptop. He sold me an older professional model Dell that he had refurbished. It was really a good buy, and I am still using it two years later. He is always available if I have questions, and he is very good at explaining things in such a way that even people without a lot of computer knowledge can understand. I will always buy my computers from him going forward.

My old computer bit the dust after many years of service. I took it to Larry, who diagnosed it quickly, telling me the motherboard was no longer working. He had some rebuilt computers in his garage, but I wanted to keep my old, slow, hard drive, and so Larry swapped it out, downloading scores of drivers and updates for the old Windows 7 system. His price was more than reasonable, given the extra effort he made, and the computer has been working well for the past 3 months. Bought a laptop Larry had listed on craigslist. Went to look at it, he told and showed me the specs. He didn't try to hide anything about it. It was an older model business laptop with good for the time, good enough for me specs. The price was good, I even asked if it came with the charger because it seemed on the low side. If you know what you're looking for my experience was "what you see is what you get", kind of a rarity these days. If you don't know what you need I would feel comfortable taking his advice based on the interaction I had.
