All of the staff was so kind! My daughter was nervous and did so well because everyone was so sweet and explained every process. They even painted her nails!

We’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and usually have great experiences—the staff is typically friendly and good with kids.
However, our last visit was disappointing. The hygienist didn’t seem like her usual self. My toddler was tired and a little rowdy (it was nap time), so we made the call to take him out and reschedule to avoid disrupting everyone.
While she was cleaning my older child’s teeth, he was a bit squirmy—as most kids are—but instead of checking in with him, she made a comment saying, “If it’s hurting, you should brush better at home.”
That was unnecessary and felt inappropriate. After the appointment, I asked my son if it hurt, and he said it didn’t—it just tickled. There was no attempt to ask how he was doing, just an assumption and a comment that came off as blaming.
We’ve had good experiences before, but this interaction really missed the mark. I expect a bit more patience and communication when it comes to working with kids.

I love Children's Dentistry of Boise. My son has been going there for 4 yrs now. They are all very nice and definitely know how to talk to children. We will continue going there until my son out grows them.

Super friendly and great with kids. They were so good with our two and a half year old on his first visit. It went way better than we expected. They were very interactive with introducing their instruments and got him involved enough to feel comfortable and engaged. He even let them fully clean his teeth. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist for their child!

These folks are so kind and are excellent at dealing with children. I won't go anywhere else. Make sure to show up a few minutes early because there are fun things to do and play in the lobby!!!
