This company was sub-contracted by Boise Hunter homes to landscape the front of my home in a new construction community. I am glad i did not opt for them to landscape my backyard, but I had no choice of landscaper to have the front yard completed per Boise hunter. A to Z was the worse company Boise Hunter contracted. They planted a dead river birch tree, which was eventually replaced after, only after pleading with the warranty company for several months. A to Z installed a two valve sprinkler system, which minimally should have been at least three valves for the watering areas. When I spoke to A to Z they replied, "thats the way we do it for the hubble homes." Absoulutely sub-standard work. they placed sod right atop of construction debris, rocks, sand nails (road mix) with no top soil. There was defintely no fine grade completed, as it states in the landscaping contract. My lawn would dry out quickly, yellow and brown in warm months. I had to replace all the sod and repair the sub-standard sprinkler system myself. Never use this company, extremly poor sub-standard work, cut all the corners to save a penny type of a business.

The Worst maintenance company I have ever experienced. Employees are rude and aggressive. Even cussing in front of my 2 small children. Management seems eager to fix issues but unfortunately the service they provide doesn’t change. Constantly leaving grass on one side of the fence post untrimmed and large amounts of grass clipping in the yard and driveways. Such a disappointment. I hope our HOA finds a better more professional service soon.

I work for a Neighborhood Management company and A to Z does a tremendous job for one of the community I manage. Quality work, responsive, and they go above and beyond what we ask. I work with other landscaping companies and I would have to rate A to Z #1. Now they are more expensive than other cut-rate companies, however if you want it consistently done right, they are the company to hire.

I hired Ken to do some work for our subdivision. He said he could start around noon. Around 12:20 he called and said he had changed his mind. That his workers had been working too hard and they were just going to call it a day. My jaw dropped open. I couldn't believe that after all of the phone calls, emails, and the meeting right before he was due to start that he didn't have the virtue to tell me that the job was too much for them. How hard would that have been? Now I'm stuck, back at square one, need to find another company. So very disappointing.

Unreliable. I scheduled them to repair a sprinkler main valve. They did not show up. They did not call to say they were running late. They did not answer their phone. Waited for over an hour. Nothing. How can people not realize that others depend on reliability, and if they fail to do their part, it creates a ripple effect for those depending on them. They messed up my schedule, and consequently the schedule of those depending on me. Thanks, but no thanks. Just call and communicate with your clients. Is that too much to ask?
