During construction, we lived out of state so trust in their overall capability, reliability to deliver on time, and eye toward quality control was an absolute must. Furthermore, we valued working with a team of folks that were more than just business associates and instead people that clearly cared about us and valued our relationship (both professionally and personally).We have pretty exacting standards and were very much into the detail of decisions along the way. Rick and the team leveraged virtual means of communication and work tracking to ensure progress and results aligned with expectations. The overall result is awesome. Skidmore proved to us that they can build an awesome custom home to exacting standards, in sometimes challenging conditions (lingering supply chain disruptions, record breaking snowfall 22-23). “I have waited 6 months to review our home from Rockwell. We have found the home to nice. Keep in mind that everything that is man made is subject to having faults. We have had a few issues along the way, however Rockwell has stood behind their word and honored their warranty. They are a family owned company and I have found they will work with the home owner on any issues that are Rockwell related. I do wish more companies valued input and response from their customers as they do. I give 4 stars because their were issues. Truly 5 stars would mean no issues and everything perfect, lets be realistic, if it is man made it is going to have issues. Therefore the 4 star review. They are a local company that does within reason everything to make the homeowner happy with their purchase.“

“I am SO HAPPY with our Copper Creek home (moved in 7 months ago). In the planning process, they worked to make it perfect for us. I was impressed by the engineering they do to make homes energy-efficient. Then when it came time to choose the details, I was so impressed at the quality of materials that come standard: custom kitchen cabinets, closet shelving, wide baseboards, beautiful trim, stone countertops, cushy carpet, etc. I've heard generalized advice to people choosing to build instead of buy to brace yourself because some subs are good and some are not. But I have to say, the people working for Copper Creek and their subs really know their trades! Everything was done so beautifully: the flooring, painting, wall texture, cabinetry, tilework, stucco, driveway, everything! The only sub I wasn't impressed by was the one who did the garage doors. Seriously, that's it! And even though our house was built in the height of the pandemic, delays were minimal, and they didn't hike prices. We got our dream house at an affordable price. Highly recommend!“
