I have been a fan of the Iowa Clinic for years. However, our pcp left and suggested Dr Back. I made an appointment with Dr Back about a month ago for next Tues and now being told due to workload she is picking and choosing patients and I've been dropped. Now I need to scramble to find another doctor to get my prescriptions. They are offering appts with another doctor in the same clinic but I need to know I can rely on a doctor and not be dropped. Guess I will look at Unity Point or Mercy.Karat Seward

Jackie Schroeder (patient navigator) was amazingly patient and kind in dealing with the logistics involved in my care. Talia handled my ultra-sound and she was very kind, compassionate and educational. Dr. Kang was great in the way he explained my procedure and carried it out in a professional way with very good bed side manner.

All my health providers are at Iowa Clinic and I have no problems with phone calls being returned, having blood draws, questions answered or anything dealing with my health. However, I bought a pair of compression hose in the little store that cost $80. When I tried them on, realized they were much too tight below my knee and realized they would not be comfortable. When I took them back, I was told no refund was allowed because I had tried them on. Now, please tell me how I would know if they fit properly if I hadn’t tried them on? $80 is a lot of money just to throw away because Iowa Clinic doesn’t allow for refunds unless the merchandise is not opened.
