Our experience with Drake Homes started out very positive. Communication during the build process was strong, and initially everything seemed to be handled well. I wish I could leave a 5, because honestly in the beginning it was great, and issues were handled well.
Issues began once we moved in and started identifying a couple of larger concerns. One significant issue was brought to their attention approximately three to four months (maybe even sooner) after move-in, and another arose around nine months later. Both were raised well within the one-year warranty period.

From the moment we walked into Andrew’s open house back in January, we knew this Drake Home was meant to be ours. With Andrew’s guidance, we found the perfect lot, customized our dream home, and even sold our beloved house of 20+ years. We couldn’t be happier to celebrate the holidays in our beautiful new home! We’ve owned a handful of homes in the here it is..”Take or leave it builders”in this market area. Our experience with Drake has been nothing short of phenomenal. The Drake team builds a distinct quality home that stands out in communities of mixed use builders. You can take a drive through several subdivisions in the Des Moines metro and pick out the Drake homes as you drive by. Hats off to the Drake team for a pleasant buying process and taking care of the details that we wanted in our new home.
