Sept of 23 I went to Dr Hosington for a lesion under my tongue that my dentist was concerned about. He barely looked at it, I drew him back to look at it again. He was very short, dismissed me and said it was nothing. He did prescribe “magic mouth wash”. - A few weeks later I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was dealing with that through March. The lesion under my tongue continued to bother me. I saw another ent who did a biopsy and found the lesion was Squamish cell carcinoma consuming now half my tongue. Feeding tube, port, 35 radiation treatments and 8 chemos later - I continue to heal as of 2-6-2025. Early diagnoses is key. 😢

Dr Hoisington is by far one the best doctors I have seen in a long time. He has common sense, listens and doesnt rush you at all. He's very logical too. Im a business professional here in West Des Moines and this man is smart. He's a very pleasant man too. I've been to several ENT doctors in the area and he's by far the best. I wont go to anyone else for my ENT needs. He's a gem.

Not sure yet. Just make sure he gives the shot of novicain he shoots in your nose, before the procedure, a chance to work! Was not pleased with that for sure. I question the actual concern he has for his patients problem. Now 4 months later. My nose is still plugged up at night. Didn't work! Wasn't worth it.
