Audra has 1000% transformed my relationship with my wavy/curly hair. I so appreciate her “curl by curl” cutting method in creating the hair shape I want. On top of that, she’s a great conversationalist. I highly recommend her for anyone with textured hair!

You probably don't remember me. I certainly remember you! Here's a review of the experience I had at your salon. Is it possible to give zero stars? I'm in complete sympathy with reviewer Morgan O. I had a similarly bad experience. I went there for a haircut . . . a 35-minute drive to get there, I was there for close to 3 hours, followed by a 35-minute drive home. That meant an investment of more than four hours of my day and life. Audra began by showing me pictures of various styles. I settled on one rather quickly, but she kept showing me pictures and more pictures and more pictures! I finally said, "Okay, I don't really need to see any more. I picked one," but she kept at it anyway. When she at last got around to cutting my hair, she continued to talk in a sort of stream-of-consciousness chatter that went on the whole time I was there. It was exhausting to have to listen to her. Too add insult to injury, I also had a negative experience with product purchasing! I bought two of her not-inexpensive products. I told her at the time that I wasn't sure whether or not I already had something at home for the purpose. When I got home, I discovered that in fact I did already have similar products, so I called the next morning to say that I didn't need them. She refused to take them back even though they had been out of her shop less than 24 hours, were unopened and hadn't even left the paper bag they went home in! I told her a credit would be okay. She would't even grant me that! She's a talented hair designer, BUT . . . and it's a big one . . . she is 100% self-involved and COMPLETELY unconcerned about her customers' experience. Altogether it was an expensive, highly unpleasant, sensory-overloaded episode that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Audra talked through everything she did with my daughter, along the way. She made sure she was comfortable with all processes and that she was aware of the feelings that come with big changes! She did an incredible job with cut, color and beginning the process of activating her curls in a healthy way. she even taught her how to do each step and made sure she could do them on her own. She was patient, kind and is so talented at what she does! The experience was relaxing, informative and such an encouragement in embracing individual hair texture and ourselves. Thank you, Audra!

My pixie cut had grown out, and I came to Audra to have it cut back to a similar style as before. I spent 3 1/2 hours there, left with an "ok" haircut, and was talked into spending over $300. 3 hours of the 3 1/2 was her pitch to buy her products. She didn't relent, and argued that none she listed could be skipped when asked. I was overwhelmed, and foolishly ended spending over $300 there for products that do no more than normal shampoo/conditioner (I've used them for several weeks to verify), and for a "meh" haircut. She knew I was hesitant on spending so much, yet never mentioned she would/could not return your money, even immediately after for unopened products. The whole process was uncomfortable, manipulative, long, and very costly. The product is nothing special. I recommend finding somewhere else.

Audra is so knowledgeable about curly and wavy hair. She knew things about my hair that I didn’t even know! It took a lot of trusting on my end, I’ve never found a stylist who I felt like truly knew my hair, but I felt like she spent a lot of time getting to know my hair and educating me on how to do my hair. Doing my hair now is so much easier than it was before I went to Audra. The cut was so different than what I’ve ever had, but it’s the best cut I’ve ever had and I feel like it just fits my hair. My appointment was longer than I had ever had a hair appointment, but trust me, the education is worth it. I would have paid for just education alone. Take time to listen and learn and be open minded and apply what she tells you! She is not only a great stylist but a great person. A good listener and super sweet as a person. 100 stars.Services: Curly hair

As a former cosmetologist I have a hard time finding someone I trust with my curls. I went to Audra yesterday and can’t get over how amazing my curls look this morning. Audra is extremely knowledgeable about all things curly hair. You will leave confident that you can embrace and love your curls as well. Audra did the most thorough consultation I have ever had. I left with exactly the haircut I wanted.

To start, I have never written a bad review on anyone!!!! I went for a hair-color yesterday, asked for a brown to blonde bayalage. My hair was preciously highlighted blonde and dark roots were showing ... so I didn’t think this would take too long or be that difficult. Took over 3 hours and my hair is somehow dishwater blonde with copper roots. Worst $160 I’ve ever spent... and now I have to have it corrected. DO NOT GO TO HERE!!!

Audra takes the time to get to know your hair and really listens to what it is you want. She takes time to educate you on how to best care for your hair, and genuinely cares about every detail that goes into it. I have never been more impressed. I will be back and will be recommending her to every one I meet. She is so knowledgeable and extremely talented.
