I can't believe I've went for nearly 30 years with eye doctors telling me to just "wear my contacts less" to fix my dry eye problems. She explains everything so clearly, set me up with a plan of attack. I am very hopeful that I all finally going to get some dry eye relief and slow down the damage.“

I think I might have looked a bit shocked when I found out she was just recently out of school, believe it or not 4 years undergrad and another 4 years of optometry school. “I had my exam this week and I was so very very impressed with Dr Kelly. She was so very kind and caring. She is phenomenal!!! Amber did my pre testing and was very good at explaining everything and she went over my insurance and cost and different options I had which was extremely helpful. Several of the staff helped me decide which frames looked the best. They were all very kind and helpful. Sara even had me try on her own glasses as she thought they might be a color and shape I liked. Sure enough that's the pair I ended up ordering so thank you!!. “I was in Clive on business when I realized I forgot to pack my daily contacts! I was smart enough to take a picture of my contacts just in case I was able to pass a vision center, but the day got busy and I forgot to even look when traveling between clients. That evening I was having dinner with my sales rep when I noticed Vogue Vision in the parking lot. As my luck would have it, it was 6:01 pm and they close at 6. I peeked in the window where Chuck noticed me. He could have easily said we are closed, but instead he welcomed me into the store and found lenses that fit my prescription! He was ultra pleasant and very kind to help me after business hours. Thank you for your outstanding service, you went above and beyond! If I were in my home state I would have never had this kind of service, Iowa nice!“

“This review is for purchasing glasses only. I did not have my eye exam here. I was very nervous about my first glasses-buying experience but the staff at Eyemart made the experience easy and stress free. Since I had never even tried on glasses before, I required a lot of assistance. The staff at this location gave me the personalized attention I needed and helped me find glasses for my face shape. They were easily able to narrow down the glasses selection based on my preferences. I appreciated all the help they provided me as I really had no idea what I was looking for when I walked in. My intention was just to try on glasses and start my search here, but I ended up purchasing glasses and prescription sunglasses during my first visit. Since I never made it to any other shops, I don't have much to compare it to. I feel as though there glasses selection was large and seem to have many types, designs, and brands in stock. They offered to order additional colors of frames and show me my options online. I ended up liking a pair they had in stock, and special ordering my sunglasses. The glasses came in about 5 days later, and my sunglasses took about 2 weeks. I definitely recommend this place for people who need extra help purchasing their first pair of glasses.“

“I was looking for a provider nearby and who was also in my plan's network. My first visit was for myself and I saw Dr. Jenessa Lock. I wear contacts and have had the same Rx for years (fortunately). My second visit was for my teenager - she saw Dr. Michael Lock. Both experiences, from front desk staff to technicians and both optometrists was great! Super friendly, explained our eye health really well and made the experience for both separate visits easy and the most pleasant experience I've had before. No pressure to source my contacts at the store. Both Drs. Lock were friendly and there was no extended waiting around and shuffling multiple patients. Didn't have to have our eyes dislates with their testing capabilities and could see my eye health on screen. Excellent experience and now sending my spouse for his exam! “Dr. Steffensmeier at the Des Moines Eye Surgeons was highly spoken of and recommended by my Dr Haughland at Pearle Vision in Ames to remove my cataracts. I was so impressed with the entire staff after my initial appointment and was anxious for the surgeries that were performed the 23rd and 30th of January. I was so well cared for and the surgeries went very good! Dr, Steffensmeier and the entire surgical team were so professional and so warm and caring! I had to drive 75 miles to get there and it was worth every mile! Dr. Steffensmeier called each evening after both surgeries were completed to check up on me which was such a pleasant surprise but certainly not shocking after the kindness and excellent care that I received from him. This experience put the faith back into medical care that I had lost over the years. I can't thank them enough for the kindness and excellent care in bringing my sight clearly back to me!
