Super friendly artist, clean and maintained tattoo station. This was my first piece done and the artist took me step by step and was very patient and kind with all my questions. Afterwards I was given easy instructions on how to care for my new piece. Overall a wonderful experience, I will be back! :)

Iowa City Tattoo (previously called Nemesis) is awesome. I love the atmosphere. To me, it's edgy but close knit. Both of my experiences here went great. My first tattoo was done by Andrew, my second by Jeff (Jeff is seriously the coolest dude). I also brought my sister here for her tattoo, which she had done by Jeff, and she loved it.

Had an appointment with Jeff a few weeks ago, the ink room is sectioned off if there is more than one appointment going on, the tables are all plastic wrapped for safety, and Jeff wore a mask the entire time. I'm happy with the quality of my tattoo and had a good time getting it as well. Will definitely return if I'm ever in town and want to get another tattoo.

Anne is exceptional - her artwork, her style, the quality of her work, even her personality - I HIGHLY recommend working with her. As an introvert I often worry about having to maintain a conversation with a stranger during a long tattoo session, but Anne is interesting and not overbearing at all. COVID practices are amazing - masks, constant sanitizing. I felt very comfortable and safe. I recommend the whole experience with Anne - not just a great tattoo, but also a wonderful time. Book an appointment with her!!

I had a few people tell me that Anne is the only person they will get a tattoo from -- and I understand why!!! Totally amazing artist, and human being. The shop culture at ICT is a lot more self-care oriented than any other tattoo shop I've spent time in. I LOVE my tattoo even more than the picture I provided as a jumping point!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
