I came from a small town and because I am getting older. I know that in my later years I will eventually need family help. I will need my family members to take care of me with doctor appointments and other things that I don't realize at this time.So I made the decision to move to Ames where it will be easier for them. I now have a support system in place. Kris Gardner RE/MAX my realtor was kind, informative, very easy to work with, very helpful and patient with me. I would recommend her to everybody. I had a list of what I wanted in a home and I shared this Kris. This gave her a good idea of what I wanted her to look for me in a home. I have been going here for my primary care since moving to Iowa in 2012, and Dr. T. is the best!! She saw my dad before me, and now she also is primary for my son. She always takes time to talk in depth about any and all concerns, no matter how insignificant you might think they are, and never, ever makes you feel like anything less than family. We moved out of the area in 2016 and I continued to make the drive to Huxley from Newton and now Ankeny. I'm always 110% recommending her to anyone looking for a primary care physician. She and the wonderful Huxley staff are more than worth the trip!
Hedrick Construction did a great job on our roof replacement, and extra-wide gutter replacement. We have had no leaks and the roof looks great. They did a thorough cleanup as well. I highly recommend them.

Good crew. That says something. Big operation. Got in and out in 45 minutes. When they work that well together they've been a team for awhile. Boss seems like a good one. Honest. Foreman struck me as really good. And the crew. There's a lot to worry about as the customer (heavy equipment or logs falling on to your roof, siding, gutters, yard, fence), they seemed to take care not to damage anything. I appreciate that. Nice job.
I just got a new puppy. Took him in for the doctor to check him over as I had a concern. Thorugh exam was given. Discussed process and followup for next visit. Received call for a checkup if problems and some meds. Great care.
Dr. White has always been responsive and thorough with her exams and diagnosises of my horses. Her calm efficient manner is particularly helpful in emergency situations. Her communication is clear and pragmatic with a balance of horse and owner means. One of my favorite things about Dr. White is her ability to understand the connection between me and my horses to maximize the outcome of her visit.
