“I am very happy to attend consultations at Grimes Chiropractic. Dr. Max Barkalow is amazing! He is patient and always advises you what is best for you. I like that they have top-notch equipment, X-rays, Muscle Stimulator or Pulse Massager for Pain Relief, Physical Therapy equipment, and more. In the first instance they show a video about the importance of chiropractic treatments before starting your procedure. They carefully explain the root of the problem and set a goal to improve your health based on radiology results and more. My biggest problem is my neck and my back. It makes me feel comfortable being taught about chiropractic treatments, objective and goal to obtain the proper results for the stability of my body. My treatment has given great results, I always feel relaxed and less tense. I have seen many improvements after attending my appointments. My muscles and tendons feel less compressed and less tense. My pain is less intense and my movements are better. I will definitely continue attending my consultations. “I got a massage done here about two years ago and still remembered how good it was. I’ve been working a lot of hours lately and so when I decided to book a massage I had to come back. I got a deep tissue and specifically asked for Anna, she is amazing. I personally don’t think it was too rough, but that differs from person to person. I felt she was very considerate and gentle in the areas that you could tell were a little more sensitive. Also, yes they get on the table with you however they do not get ON TOP of you! Overall I will be coming back next time I’d like a massage:)“

“I have mixed feelings about posting this review. On one hand, Malia absolutely deserves all the praise because this was hands down the BEST MASSAGE I’ve ever had! On the other hand, I’m a bit selfish and still want to be able to book an appointment with her!

Let me share all the little things that made this an exceptional experience. First, Malia has a very detailed intake form that covers everything from your preferred music, level of conversation, massage technique, and pressure. She tailors the massage exactly to your preferences. For instance, I usually don’t like to talk during a massage, but she’s so engaging. I found myself chatting away, and she would politely respond and then guide me back to focusing on my breathing and relaxation, just as I requested on the intake form.

Secondly, I’m not sure why all massage therapists haven’t invested in padding for their tables, but Malia has, and it feels like lying on a cloud. The room is dark and quiet, except for the background sound of your choice. Since she has her own space, you don’t hear conversations from other therapists and clients, which can be distracting when you’re trying to relax.

Finally, Malia has great energy. She is passionate about her work, and it shows from the moment you meet her!

I hope you enjoyed this review, but please, I beg you, leave me some appointments with her! She’s a rare find, and I don’t want to share her too much! Just kidding. Kinda.“
