I've used Central iowa towing probably 30. Times in past 2 yrs undecking trailers for me. In Altoona and in Marshalltown.
Both locations great staff and quick service. Mostly in Marshalltown now. Chad the heavy wrecker driver is very professional and quick.
Highly recommend this company for treating customers..fair.

Central Iowa Towing and Recovery helped make a frustrating situation easier. My father and daughter were in an accident and while the vehicle seemed drivable at first, it quickly stopped working. I was 2 hours away and Central Iowa Towing put my mind at ease and got their disabled vehicle off the side of the road and to a shop in a reasonable amount of time. They didn't gouge me on the price. 10/10 would recommend!!!

One of their drivers got on I-80 right near this location and merged into me ~6 pm on 10/22/25. Luckily I didn't get in a serious accident but I had to swerve into the far left lane to get out of their way.

Rob was so helpful and supportive and patient on the phone. Tyrone was so positive and upbeat at 6am on a Saturday. He was quick and responsive to coming out and to my questions and getting me information.
Highly recommend them if you need a tow.

Called these guys last minute to move 9 scissor lifts. Was a little nervous at first. The guys showed up knew exactly what they were doing got them all transported no issues. Couldn't have been happier with the work. Will definitely continue using them. Great job guys!

Excellent service! I have used them multiple times. I decided to use another local company for some foolish reason. I scheduled a week out. The other company canceled the morning of pickup. I then called Central Iowa Towing. They came to the rescue once again… in less than an hour! Never again will I Go elsewhere. You folks are very clutch when people need you. Thank you!!
