I requested an estimate to clean our windows in older, historic neighborhood. The checklist included whether or not it was inside or out, how many stories, cleaning of sills or not, etc. After some discussion back and forth of how many windows (they charge by the pane, so one window is usually two panes) we agreed on two stories, inside and out, and most but not all sills (some windows are hard to access or open). We agreed on a date which had to be changed-no problem-and a time. She was late due to car trouble but let me know. This company did not provide the service that was promised for the price. My mom hired this company to clean my new house before I moved in as a housewarming gift to me. We wanted my house deep cleaned before I moved in. My mom was specific about what she wanted done. First red flag, The owner kept asking for payment before she began, which my mom was not comfortable with, but as soon as she arrived my mom paid her for the entire cleaning. Second red flag, she was an hour or more late for the job. Then left to get some more tools (no big deal). We left to run some errands during the cleaning, which she had said was fine.
