I went to PCI in CR for Neurology and saw Dr Krain for over 10 years. He was the most unprofessional doctor! He compromised my privacy by noting our visit up and down the hallway dictating for everyone to hear. I would not recommend the doctor or PCI. Now I'm trying to transfer health services and have found it next to impossible to have my records faxed to a new neurologist. Their process of transferring has taken me hours to try and do and I still have not been provided with an address to request transfer which they say is needed. A form was emailed to me with NO address to send it to. I have spent HOURS trying to find an address. What a joke their organization is. Save yourself hours of hassle...go somewhere else!!!

I’ve been to PCI to see several doctors and never had a great experience. First I saw an orthopedic Dr that spent 2 min with me and sent me away. The next orthopedic Dr I saw at PCI recommended two separate knee procedures, neither of which worked. When I had my knee fixed at Steindler, the Dr said the procedures recommended to me were “voodoo” and unproven. Next I had a vasectomy and the Dr had terrible bedside manner. His nurse was in and out of the room leaving the door open while I was exposed and people were walking by. Then the Dr started texting his daughter during the procedure all while I was exposed. My last bad experience was with an ent Dr that removed a mass on my face. The incision was huge. I’ve had larger masses removed from much smaller incisions, every question I asked was a short insincere answer then she joked about continuing my modeling career when I asked about a lump that appeared from the incision.

It's crazy how a 33 year old dies after an elective surgery and the facility offers zero condolences. Thank you Dr. Hart and Unity Point .

Between both of my parents, my husband, and myself, we utilize nearly all the services at PCI. We have seven different doctors that we see between clinics here and we truly appreciate the good care we receive here. Like with all doctors, it is important to advocate for yourself so they understand your needs clearly. I feel that each of our doctors at PCI have clear communication and great nursing and support staff. I would recommend PCI to others.

Such a bad experience with the urology department. A-hole doctor, terrible technique left me with lifelong pain, A-hole treatment of me. Reported him tot he medical board. PCI would not even discuss the doctor's treatment or behavior with me and accused me of just trying to sue them.Never want to go here (any of their docs) again.

Around here we call this place the "PCI Building". It's a medical super market. Every type of healing and health investigation happens here. We have our own Mayo Clinic. The staff is wonderful and very well trained. I look forward to being scheduled to go here for whatever reason. I sure hope you all feel the same.

Called billing for some help with a unfortunate event that happen to my family, Julie is a supervisor and treated me as if I was a piece of garbage on the street, from the very start of the call felt like she did not want to deal with me. Truly sad, really hope that what ever is happening in her life gets resolved. I am sure I am not the only one she is being nasty too. Please seek other places ??

If you are going for tests only they do a great job and all of the nurses and staff for that are great, for that I would rate 4.5 stars. My 1 star rating is for after a cancer diagnosis for my wife and is directed specifically at the 3 doctors of the pulmonary, oncology and surgery departments. Pulminolgy for stating "before biopsy" that the cancer was small cell and inoperable, which was NOT true . Oncology for recommending chemo 3 days per week and Radiation 5 days per week before surgury, when the top cancer centers in america says rarely do they give radiation before surgery because it causes complications during surgery. PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IF NOTHING ELSE. And surgery for coming into the appointment with a piece of notebook paper with a hand written drawing of lungs and said" I am pretty sure you can live with just one lung ,so that is my recommendation to remove the lung. The cancer was stage 2B non small cell carcinoma in the top right lobe only. My wife did receive a very different treatment elsewhere. She received the KNOWN standard of care for her cancer and they removed the top right lobe surgically and is now cancer free. Please everyone. If your insurance covers a 2nd opinion from a top rated hospital any where in the US like mayo clinic, cleavland clinic, john hopkins PLEASE DO IT, not just diagnosis but treatment also especially. I know some insurance don't cover out of state, at least get a 2nd opion from the highest rated hospital in your state.
