I started going to Hint and Hue last year after trying to find a salon that met my needs, and I am SO thankful it was recommended to me by a friend! The salon itself has a great vibe, which is possible by the decor and the interactions between the stylists and clients; it’s evident the stylists are passionate about hair and enjoy working together. I have a gluten allergy and can’t use any hair products that contain gluten. Bethanne did her research and found safe products to use on my hair! I feel so lucky that I found Hint + Hue when I moved here from Chicago. I had a hair stylist in Chicago that I loved and was concerned that I wouldn't find someone as talented. I needn't have worried. Both Morgan and Bethanne are outstanding hair stylists. They are also very fun and likable, which is great when you are sitting in a chair for a full set of highlights. The salon is cute, immaculately clean, and a pleasant space. I am always offered a drink as soon as I arrive, and they offer a nice selection and have very good coffee! I highly recommend Morgan, Bethanne and the salon for all of your hair needs. You can't go wrong at Hint + Hue!
I tend to struggle when it comes to haircuts, being quite shy and anxious and having only been to a salon twice before, and I can say that this place eased all my worries. The interior is quite calming and visually appealing, and the staff were the perfect combination of friendly and professional. My stylist was very conscientious of my time and desires, gave me her professional opinion on how to best make it work, told me exactly what she was going to do to my hair and explained why and checked if I was okay with everything before she started.
