Came in last Thursday with reports of a 104 fever, chills, and body aches and was only tested for covid and flu. Doctor came into the room not having checked the test results and did it live on the computer in the room. Both came back negative and he proceeded to tell me it was just a cold and that I wasn’t contagious??? And that it would be entirely gone by Saturday. I reminded him I had a 104 fever the night before (mind you it was still in the 100’s at this point) and he goes well yeah it’s gonna suck and then insisted on walking me out.

It’s the following Thursday and I still have all the aforementioned symptoms, and have no antibiotics or viral medication...read full review

It's easy to schedule appointments and they are always on time. Simple things like checkups (assuming that everything checks out well) go very well. However, Thielen is habitually dismissive of students' health concerns and issues (I don't want to blow this out of proportion, maybe other people have only great experiences). There's a bit of an attitude that "young people can't really have health problems", and I thought for a long time this was just me being impatient or too demanding, but I've run into quite a few people with this complaint. Waited 30 mins after my appointment for the doctor to see me and then was told just fight the infection :) so basically, dont waste your time going there. Googled helped me better ??
