We live in Marshalltown and needed a landscaper who really understands retaining walls and drainage. This winter when the snow thawed, we had water in the basement. Two basement experts told us that our basement was leaking due to a grading issue that would likely take thousands in landscaping to rectify. We had a very challenging issue with a retaining wall that was installed by the previous owner of our house. It wasn’t built correctly and was starting to fail; threatening the gas line and AC unit on the west side of our house. Patrick was very responsive to our initial inquiry and offered a couple of creative options to repair/replace it. Due to the urgency of the project; he was able to carve out some time to complete it within a very reasonable period of time. I hired Central Landscape to install a paver patio in my backyard. Their price was very competitive. The work was top notch. My interactions with employees were always pleasant. I really wanted to give them 5 stars, but I removed one due to difficulty communicating prior to the project. E-mails and calls would often go unreturned. However, once the project began, communication was great. I plan to hire them again for the next project.
