Dr J is really good, detailed and honest. He operated on both my shoulders. Right shoulder slap tear and left shoulder rotator cuff tear. I lift weights and am very active, Dr J fixed my shoulders and I’m back to my active lifestyle with no pain. I would highly recommend Dr J.

My experience at Orthopedic Associates in Waipahu was completely unacceptable. I showed up on time for my appointment, only to sit in the waiting room well past my scheduled time. When I was finally called in, I was moved to a room… just to wait another 30 minutes before anyone showed up.
The “exam” itself was a joke — rushed, under 5 minutes total, and provided absolutely no medical advice or guidance. To make matters worse, Dr. Barcia abruptly left in the middle of the already short visit without any explanation. After that, I was just escorted back to the front desk like nothing happened.
The only “help” they offered was a referral — which I could have gotten faster and cheaper by doing a quick Google search at home.
If you’re looking for real help, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Don’t waste your time, money, or hope on this place.

He didn't solve my sore knee problem.. he basically told me to live with it and take pain medication and steroid shots.

My primary physician, Judith Hernaez scheduled an appointment on 16 November 2022 to see Dr. Andrew Richardson an orthopedic at the Waipio Clinic about my knees. I did not ask her to find me a physician nor to schedule any appointments without my knowledge. I was only made aware of this appointment when someone called to remind me of my upcoming appointment. During my appointment I discussed with Dr. Richardson of my previous operations I had on my knees and the treatments I got with Supartz. Dr. Richardson asked where did I get my xray and MRI done so it can be scheduled. I waited about a month and call the office as to when they will schedule the xrays or MRI and was told they are waiting for approval. For some reason they never returned my calls and never scheduled anything. I wrote to HMSA as to what is happening and what they are billing HMSA and Medicare. I was put in contact with the Fraud Department and gave them a letter as to what transpired. HMSA will not comment on the investigation but I suspect they were billed for services rendered such as the xrays that never happened. I would stay away from this company and find another physician for treatment. Needless to say both physicaian are my former physicians.

I would like to take this opportunity to sad thanks you. To everyone that involved with my procedure. Starting with checking in,and surgery room everyone is so nice to me it make me very comfortable. Even though I was very scared and anxious but after I got to meet with the doctor and I feel like I was in a good hand so that make me come myself down. And Dr. Kikuchi came in and said that my surgery when really well. Also I would like to say thank you all of the nur . Dr. Lim and his staff are very friendly. I had to wait a while in the room, but it was worth it. Definitely recommend seeing them.
