Started Day 1 today and the environment is welcoming. Everyone is supportive from the Coaches to the members in the class. Jump Ship ain't just a workout class, it's a whole Vibe.

Change for change's sake is pointless, but improvements are always welcome. New owners and management kept much of the best and built on what the previous owners had created. Awesome coaches, great programing (ie well designed workouts), and the best atmosphere of any gym I have ever frequented. The equipment is well maintained, or newly purchased, and the space is clean and perfectly suited for demanding yet enjoyable workouts. Coaching and programming are very important for any "Crossfit Box" - Jumpship crushes it on both. Outstanding... now if I could just get my first bar muscle up....

Change is inevitable! Change is good, right? Well, here's to Jump Ship Crossfit - West Side, previously Arkaios but now under new management. So far there seems to be a lot of changes: membership fees & contracts and apps-from Wodify to Zen Planner and TrainHeroicn, new social media page/websites, and parking for members inside the gym's compound are some of the most noticeable so far. What seems to be staying: class schedule/offerings (i.e. crossfit, open gym, weight lifting) and coaches, with a few additional coaches, and military discount.
