Ongoing tweaking of my kupuna (elder) look took an Italian turn yesterday when I ventured into Enjoy Fashion Salon at Parker Ranch Shopping Center, Waimea. They are from Torino, Italy. After a little kuka - discussion - with Katia, through her interpreter Stefano, I decided to indulge in a very pricey haircut that was soooooo much more than a haircut. I fancy myself an artist of sorts - at the very least an artist in judging, by smart, knowledgeable observation, other artists' technical talent and expertise. That said, having my hair look crafted by Katia was a joy. I especially loved the sound of her scissors. It was a sublime non-sound, much like resonant harmonics of a guitar or bell tone. I loved the experience enough that I am salivating with anticipation my next visit!
