“My dryer wasn't drying clothes as it should. Clothes still felt damp after a cycle. I consulted with an appliance repair company thinking my dryer must be broken. The tech asked a few questions and said it's not the dryer, your dryer vent probably needs to be cleaned. I had no idea it should be cleaned annually to clear out all the junk (lint) and prevent a fire! So I requested a quote on Yelp and some companies responded that their first available appointment wasn't for a few weeks. I called Hawaii Indoor Air Specialist and Dolores said she'd see what she could do to get me a sooner appointment. Dolores was so warm and so helpful! She called me back that same day and said one of the tech could fit me in the very next day after he finished another job!! Wow, terrific news!! The tech Adam called me when he was on his way. He was timely, professional and explained what he was doing. Before he left he cleaned the area and made sure my dryer was working and the air was moving through the vent. I paid $164 which to me was worth every cent to protect my house from a fire!!! Great job.”
